Fruit trees £9.99

Post: # 149124Post Green Aura »

We went to Inverness at the weekend to do the dreaded shop, but had to call in H0meb4se for some gravel.

They had apple, pear, cherry and plum trees (several varieties of each) for £9.99 each. I don't know what rootstock they're on - I'm guessing they'll be full size, but compared to the £30-something we spent last year from a garden centre I think they're a snip.

Oh good, still looking for an eating apple - might see if I can get to hamebase soon (though I must say it is the most dire, rude, poorly stocked shop I have ever had the mis-fortune of attempting to shop in)
