My name's Hayley, I'm interested, though not yet well-versed, in most aspects of self-sufficiency, and have come to read, post and make merry!
My other half and myself are considering abandoning the rat race in the next decade or so to become as self-sufficient as possible. Mike fancies the beachcomber lifestyle while I'd love to have a smallholding. I have devoted part of my garden to growing veg and am teaching myself how to make that as efficient as possible, I'm gradually teaching myself to cook stuff from scratch... and so far, that's it! But there's much, much more on the list to be learned!
