my rhubarb appears to be being eaten to death, I think by snails and slugs. any idea how to stop the buggers getting at it? it's so bad now I'm afraid this hardy weed of a vegetable will die!
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very

Re: lacey rhubarb
Hello Mrs. F. Are you sure that it's slugs/snails? I've never seen either of these on our rhubarb. Could it be something else instead?
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.
Re: lacey rhubarb
We get slugs on our rhubarb - just the usual slug death solutions though mrs F. Beer traps galore. If you don't kill them now they will have multiplied 10 times by the time all your other tasty veg starts growing.
