Greetings from Southern Ohio

Post: # 152586Post thequeensblessing »

Hi all!
We live on a 21 acre homestead in the rolling hills of southern Ohio. We raise, slaughter, and butcher our own meats, grow our own veggies, herbs, orchard fruits, and berries, and have our own dairy and eggs. We make soap, cheese, candles, and breads the old fashioned way, and we try to feed our livestock on as much homestead produced foodstuffs as we are able. We plan on learning more about, and trying our hands at growing grain crops in the coming year.
I'm an author of a series of homesteading books, Today's Homestead, available on www.amazon.com and at www.booksbydona.com. (There are currently 2 volumes available and I'm working on the third one. There will be 6 in the series.)
I look forward to sharing our homesteading failures and successes with you all!

~Dona
