We have a chilli flower!!!!

Post: # 158795Post StripyPixieSocks »

OH was looking at the Chilli plants earlier today and found a flower! Just the one mind but I'm happy... I don't care if we only get the one, I'm still going to use it in something lol

Meanwhile, the other stuff is all going well on our Utility Window Ledge... who says you need a garden to grow stuff!

So far... so good!

Can't wait to see if the Tomatoes come to anything, a lovely Freecycle lady gave us 10 so we donated a few to my MIL and BIL as we don't have room for 10 lol

I love growing stuff!! :flower:

Very nice but my mouth is now watering, not from the thought of the chilli but from the photos of the Indian sweets than you made. I absolutely adore Indian sweets especially barfi and haven't had any for years! :(

I got the recipes from here: http://showmethecurry.com/

They are super easy to make as well :)

Both barfi recipes are very different from the one which I tried (and failed) to make years ago, which was rather complicated! The coconut barfi is essentially n£stles milk with flavouring. Yum!
