Hello, from being quite young I always thought I'd live on a self sufficient farm when I was a 'grown-up'.
Somehow at 32 I'm renting a bungalow on a street where everyone elses flower beds are immaculate! Bonus being I have a greenhouse. Enjoy growing some of my own herbs, perp. spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, courgette, cucumber & rhubarb this year). A bit of foraging (just made first elderflower cordial) and make some of my own cleaning stuff. Hoping to do my first batch of soap from scratch this year.
What an informative site. Thanks everyone for all the useful info & inspiration. Jill
