Sulphate of ammonia isn't used in organic gardening. It's used as a source of nitrogen and to lower the pH of the soil apparently.

My first thought on the replies were"I would never get my bum over the pot!" Sorry I couldn't help the thought! But on a more serious note what would be a balanced liquid feed?I have some manure I could water down and I have nettle tea,any ideas?

I don't know if you can buy organic liquid feed but I don't use organic - any general purpose liquid fertiliser that isn't particularly high in any of the NPKs will do - look for something like 6.6.6. Though as it is a fruiting plant I'd be inclined to feed with one that was higher in potassium (K) than the others.
