Scab on Peaches

Post: # 165886Post Millymollymandy »

Edit: I've discovered it is Peach Scab and not Bacterial Spot as I first thought!!!

Took some photos to show you the difference. :( :( :(

I now have one solitary good tree out of about 15, and it only has about 10 fruit on it. We have yet to eat a single fruit off this tree as 2 years ago it had brown rot and last year of course, nothing!

And this was my good tree in the veg patch, which 3 years ago produced an enormous harvest of wonderful white fleshed peaches, nothing since and now has the dreaded peach scab like all the others. You can't see the size difference but these are about the size of a golfball :( :( :( It is now heading for the wood burner. :(
