Hello

Post: # 15313Post Lucy Robyn »

Hi,

I stumbled across this site on a search about chickens and just had to join you all. I'm on the verge of getting an allotment and chickens so will be picking your brains. I've grown veggies in my garden for the last few years but the slugs eat most of them! :(

Hi Lucy

Welcome to the site! I think it was last May when I was searching the web on chickens, too, and stumbled across this - you see, I'm still with it! Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
And most of us have the same problem with slugs - we've already been exchanging lots of tips and tricks, maybe together we find a few more!

Welcome!

I think chickens hooked me in too!
Beware poultry can be habit forming! it starts with a couple of hens...before you know it your hatching eggs, considering quail, and trying to fit another trio in your garden!

kind thoughts
Deb

I'm in Brislington!

It's amazing that you can search the world wide web and find people 1 1/2 miles away

I'll check out the slug battle tactics.

Lucy.
