Hi!
Just found this forum - great!
We have always grown our own vegetables, but 6 years ago move to a very old place, with lots of land, all under concrete, ashfelt and derelict sheds. EFirst we gutted the house, and re-built it. Then we built a garage, and finally 2 years ago we started on clearing the land - 1/2 acre of it! We cleared it, and laid to grass last year, and this year I finally have a veg patch again! Fruit cordons ordered to surround it, and green house has arrived and is awaiting erection!
It's so lovely to have our own fresh veg again, even if we didnt get anthing in until April this year, but we are now almost self sufficient again, although there's not much choice yet!!
Anyway, I look forward to meeting you and getting some answers!

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Welcome to ISH
Glad to here that you've reclimed a bit of Mother Earth from the concrete disease. Although a shed or two could hold chooks...
Could you do us a favour & pop your whereabouts in your profile please?
