Re: WHAT THE HECK?
THIS IS NOT AN UNREASONABLE REQUEST!What I'd really like is a clear statement of the rules...
What I got at first was "keep it legal" which is totally understandable.... now I'm getting "only talk about culturally sanctioned psychoactives such as alcohol and caffeine"... that disappoints me....

Re: WHAT THE HECK?
Teo, you know perfectly well why your thread was closed. It was explained to you more than once. The topic you wish to discuss, even if you somehow limited yourself to the legal aspects of it, is off topic for this forum.
Now, you are in violation of the "being nice" rule as well. We all know where you are heading with this. Might I suggest you take the high road and just stop posting about this subject?
If you have something to say about topics which are relevant and of interest to the members, we would love to hear your views on them. Otherwise, you should find yourself another forum where your topic of interest is welcome.

Re: WHAT THE HECK?
Give me some clear, sensible rules and I'll follow them.
Right now they make no sense what so ever...
I don't know what plants I can and can't talk about!
Datura for example... it can help reduce nausea but it's also psychoactive and it's legal....
So can I talk about it or not?
If not... why?
GIVE ME SOME CLEAR RULES THAT ACTUALLY MAKE SENSE!
If I can only talk about culturally sanctioned psychoactives, just go ahead and admit that you think your culture is better than mine. That is what this is about.
I'm trying to get to the heart of this issue.

Re: WHAT THE HECK?
Teo, the heart of the issue is simply this - you have been told by the site mods and by the site members that the subject you wish to discuss is inappropriate and not within the ethos of the site. You have been told to look around the site to guage what the usual subject matter is and invited to make your contribution. If you are not happy with this site please feel free to leave.

Re: What is the deal?
But it's ok to discuss caffeine and alcohol?
How is what I wish to discuss inappropriate if you talk about alcohol?
This is like trying to convince a K.K.K. member that black people aren't so bad.
This is ridiculous.
Obviously nobody can give me a straight answer.

Re: What is the deal?
Do you have nothing else in your life that you would like to discuss other than mind altering substances? If so we'd love to hear about it. If not, then I really don't think that this is the place to discuss your interests!Teotzlcoatl wrote:But it's ok to discuss caffeine and alcohol?

How many more times you you have to be told?

Re: What is the deal?
Teo, as one American to another can I just tell you to stop making out we are all dimwits who can't be told when to back off?
You know what is being said to you. No one is interested in discussing pyschoactives. You will very rarely find caffeine or alcohol discussed here other than in the widest sense. No one wants to discuss mind-altering substances, especially illegal ones. Period.
I think the point will come, unless you very swiftly get a grip, that people will just ignore your posts. Can you actually talk about anything else OTHER than pyschoactives? If so PLEASE go ahead and start a thread.

Teo:
1. We do not talk of Magic Mushrooms, Cannabis, Sativa or any other 'on the line' subjects here., so please refrain.
2. It would be nice if you could contribute by answering questions that have already been asked:
a) The herbal aspects of vertain plants in a medicinal sense, not in a 'getting high' sense.
b) Any other subject interests.
c) One member specifically asked you about using one of them to get rid of toothache...that's right up your alley, please answer the question!
3. None of the members have ever publicly asked for information regaring mescaline, or any derivants, or use of the fly agaric. Again, if they don't ask, they don't want.
You have been spoken to very nicely so far, we have been a lot nice than other forums have about you.
Ish is not racist, we take all races, colours and religions here, and we all get along nicely.
On a personal note (that is, these are my personal opinions and not those of the site itself): You are boring me now, and when i get bored, i tend to hit the delete button, so if you would like to become an active member of this site, shut up about the use of substances to get high. The use of substances for their medicinal uses is fine, but i don't want to start taking trips. Most people grow out of using legal highs by the time they hit their twenties. At the moment, you sound like a desperate 15 year old. Referring to plants (and fungi) by their latin names does not make you sound clever, knowledgeable or mature. We prefer the use of the common names here so that people can find what is suggested. Don't give me any bullshit about 'You're offending me', because at the moment, you are offending me personally. If i want to get high, i will purchase a book and do some reading about it, i definitely am not interested in discussing it on a public, family forum. On the same note, i am also not interested in getting PMs from you either. If anyone else does, i suggest that they forward them to the nearest moderator immediately.
Again, i reiterate that the subject is CLOSED! You have been warned twice, had a number of your threads locked and have gained your reputation as a troll.
If you still do not understand, then i'm afraid that it is time for you to vacate the premises. You have been told enough times.
