Cotton Baby Bag....

Post: # 17077Post Shirley »

When I was pregnant with Jonathan we decided that we could do with a bag to lug all the nappies, clothes changes etc.... I did have a rucksack that I could have used for the purpose but my daughter nicked it!!

Anyway - as you probably know, there is a vast range out there... often designed purely to part us with our hard earned cash. Today, I have found the bag that I wish I had had when I needed it. Have a look and see what you think.... http://www.naturebotts.co.uk/product_details/GP-BB_.htm - lots of other good stuff on the site and it does come highly recommended from a friend of mine.

Any idea if 'natural cotton' means organic or chemical-laden?

Not sure - probably not... but have emailed them to ask.

Even if it's not organic cotton it must be a better choice than the synthetic bags that are made in sweatshops surely?

Bad colour for lugging around with you, though! I am not sure it looks all that substantial either. My friend bought a large carpet bag when she had her first baby 9 years ago, and now she still uses it, although not for nappies though. It is really beautiful and I wish I could have had one like that!
