hello -- are you smart ? I have some old bottles of spoilt red wine . What can I do with it ? put it on the compost ? will it catch giant slugs ? any suggestion please .

Hi rosebud and welcome to Ish.
I suppose it depends what you mean by spoiled. We have some that oxidised a bit, not good for drinking but it cooks quite nicely. So it gets bunged in spag bol etc.

Pour it on a patch of your veg plot, wait until it rains a bit, then plant florence fennel there.
