Hi,a newbie from Tampabay,Florida

Post: # 193862Post Lisaurbanfarmer »

Hi,I'm Lisa and at the moment a Urban Farmer in the city.I raise ducks for eggs and meat ,rabbits for meat and fertilizer, keep chickens for eggs, organic veggies,I am learning to make my own eco-friendly washing and cleaning items and trying to get off of being hooked on electricity from the power grid. My husband and I are getting ready to move onto 30 acres we will be renting and sharing with our new land lords. That sounds funny as I have never rented before, but we will do this until we can save and buy our own land with cash,no more credit and interest payments. Our new land lords are both professionals and want me to take over their animals and do a garden so they can work and hopefully she can have a baby.We in turn get cheap rent and the use of the land with them for our own profit.I have told them they are going to find out about organics and land sustainability by proper care of pastures and rotations of crops and pastures
I am confident and also shaking in my boots.I have been studying with the extension service and will keep in close touch with several mentors I have had the pleasure of meeting through my studies. I am lucky that our new landlords want the same self sufficiency as I do ,but want someone else to teach them in stead of studying themselves. Thanks for listening and will take all the knowledge I can and share what I have. For the good of all people and our Mother Earth. Hi Lisa welcome to Ish

Inj888, would you like to introduce yourself. You're currently breaking our rule of not advertising until you've been active for a while. I'm guessing you're spam, especially as your IP address is Chinese, not US, but am happy to be proven wrong.

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
