Thanks Ina, your lovely gift of a leather jerkin has firmly established me as an "ooo arrh" feral farm bloke!

I've been looking for a good jerkin for a while. It was great to be given one that's already been broken in and has that nice comfy feel to it.

Combine it with the smell of pigs and I'm now guaranteed to clear the local shops!

And thanks also for the Queensland Blue pumpkin seeds. If I get a good crop I'll make you some pumpkin scones.

Now I'm off to quaff some cider!

I'm glad you can use it, and it fits. I'm trying to grow some of the Queensland Blue, too - let's see who's the more successfull! And that recipe for pumpkin scones, that would be nice to have. I've made pumpkin fruitcake, and pumpkin bread before.

More beard should be no problem - that's one of the things you can get by not doing anything!

Nice jerkin, I never knew what that was. Well you learn something new everyday.

I do however know about akubra hats as we were looking for one the other day for Jools as he needs one to keep the sun and rain off his head. More rain these days!
