Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Re: A perfect job!
My mum grew up near the big purple chocolate factory in Birmingham and lots of her neighbours worked there. Apperently they always had tonnes of misshapes and loads of chocolate at xmas, and you could tell when it was going to rain because the smell of chocolate in the air got stronger! I wonder if it would be possible to ever get fed up of a job like that!

My grandfather worked at the big purple place back in the 50s. On your first week, they let you eat as much chocolate as you liked whilst you worked - because by Tuesday you'd be so sick of the stuff you'd never steal any.
And yes, it is true about the smell getting stronger when it's going to rain. It happens here, too - I live about a mile from the Tunnocks factory (of Tea cake and caramel wafer fame), and you can tell it's going to rain because you can smell the factory. Which is, I admit, nicer than smelling the factory that makes fish-fingers......

I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.

My grandmother worked at the Hershey chocolate factory when she was young. They also let employees eat as much as they wanted. It got to where even the smell of chocolate made her sick, for years after she quit.
I think that's one reason not to work for a chocolate factory. I want to keep enjoying it!

I can think of far worse things to smell all the time though, I had a student job at a sewage treatment plant, that wasn't so good!

My ex-husband's family lived near the Tunnocks factory in Uddingston and the smell of caramel logs in the air was divine!
