I have knowledge but wrong side of the world, though seriously considering asking if I can set up a river cottage franchise for new zealand.
Our remote ancestors said to their mother Earth, "We are yours."
Modern humanity has said to Nature, "You are mine."
The Green Man has returned as the living face of the whole earth so that through his mouth we may say to the universe, "We are one."

Re: Gardening job at River Cottage
Umm, hate to say this, reading the News of the World, the story of the River Cottage HQ chef's suicide was interesting. She was the daughter of Pam the Jam???? The story alludes to her being under a great deal of pressure at work, and the CO of the business planning to get her in for a "talk" immediately before her untimely demise.
Anyway, it was gutter trash paper story, very sad indeed for the family and all concerned.
What I would say is that the image portrayed on TV and the reality of day to day work can be a country mile apart, and for that reason, I am out.

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.
