Terrifyingly this was made all out of stash fabric (hence the slightly eccentric colour scheme). So the whole thing only cost me the price of the wadding which was about £17. I do use quilts, so it will get lots of use.
It was a bugger to quilt, I broke three needles and the light on my sewing machine went out (in a terribly symbolic fashion) and I started to think Fate was against me but I persevered. And now it is done! I swore while I was doing it that I would never quilt anything again but when I was putting my fabric scraps away I may have got some others out just to see what they look like together. But I'm not addicted. Honestly
