Where to get good timber for lining beds

Post: # 225391Post Bromd123 »

Pretty much as above really guys

I signed up for an allotment last week and have been there all weekend digging lol

I need to mark out the beds from the paths and want to line them with wood, Ive used scaffolding planks that i had stored so far but have just used the last of them. Does anyone have any idea where i can get some good timber for few ££ the cheaper the better really

Any ideas welcome

Thanks Dave

Dave, are you intent on making deep beds? The best place for reedundant scaffold planks(the top stuff for your purpose) is your local scaffolder!! check them out. Otherwise, consider second-hand armco, cheap, lasts forever but you'll need an angle grinder.
