Lottie from 11-2.45, round to school, home for dinner, back down the lottie 10pm.

Despite suncream, I got burnt :(

But at least I have most of my allotment cleared of weeds, more dug and raked over, and finally - more planted out!!!!! Woohoooooo! Feel like Im managing to do this now, dont feel like such a "novice". I am so ready to sleep tonight!

Oh, and I havent killed anything, thought summit would have gone belly up by now

Well done! A bit of sunburn is part of the summer and garden experience...
Yesterday a colleague from Tasmania was quite embarrassed when she asked me did we have some suncream. Who would have thought that the sun in Scotland could be so fierce - even if the temperature rarely gets above the 20 degree!

have you got some aloe vera to put on your burnt bits, Millie?

Well done for everything except the sunburn Millie!

I have just discovered the benefits of using high SPF creams. I spent the day outside in shorts and a suntop wearing SPF40 and no pink flesh! I was amazed because I really didn't think it could/would work!

However need to let the sun through a bit here and there or I'll remain white all summer!

Sunburn is never nice, but whack on the high factors and a hat and you should be alright. What you need is a SSF teashirt in large size. It covers nearly all of me!

I hope your redness disappears soon. 8)

Looking Gooooood Millie!

Well done.

I am so impressed at the neatness and ordliness of the UK patches... looks like real gardening book stuff. Very professional.

Hope those knees are feeling better (Very nasty spot to get burned :pale: )
