Greenhouse guttering - where to buy ?

Post: # 227303Post sarahkeast »

Now that I have a clean shiny greenhouse back in position I am thinking of connecting the gutters along each side to catch the water. But.....

can I find anywhere that sells 35mm diameter half round piping/guttering/joints etc ? :dontknow: heck no  searched the interweb, googled, tried local stores :study: nothing. Any suggestions ? I am fairly good at improvising and adapting [ok, bodging] but this has me stumped.

It is an older aluminium greenhouse, the gutters are part of the structure. I really want one end stopper, a way to connect the two sides across the back and a down spout/stopper at the other end. Is it too much to ask ? :rabbit: :banghead:

Snap... same problem here - so what I did was popped to the local garden centre. Got 2.5m of 1 1/2" Black pond piping. Made a slit on one side of the pipe and then slide it over the gutter exit (and cable tie it in place). Tested with a watering can and works well and draining into a IBC tank.
