Anyone got any ideas or experience?
What can you grow...

If you fork out for some triple-skin bubble wrap to line the house with and a little heater, you'd be surprised. There's only about 6 weeks most years when stuff won't grow... when growth stops cover with envirofleece, or for really tender stuff make a box out of expanded polystyrene to put the pots into while the weather is really cold. Depends on the year.

i tend to start seeds that need to be planted in the winter in the greenhouse.
I also grow winter cabbage in there to make it look pretty and useful (and to go into the compost when it dies).
Keeping some compost in there in a small bin wqouldn't be a bad idea - it creates its own heat.
