Yep it has been a pretty warm winter here just across the Bristol channel. I am hoping that this does not mean that the weeds will be more prolific this year, might not be good news for pests either. My rosemary plant is looking well good at the moment as are the sage and the Lavender.

I think Nev is having a warm January at the moment with temperatures over 35c over in Aus.

I wonder about this talking to the plants my girlfriend talked to her sunflowers last year and I did not to mine hers grew two feet taller than mine. I think she had better soil but she thinks it is down to the talking

As for sowing in the North nothing outside yet but have got toms and peppers on the go. Along with the indoor basil

It has been pretty warm here (and humid) but I suppose it is summer and what should I expect

Hopefully it will start to cool down soon, then it will get to winter and I will complain about that! you can't please some people

I'm gonna hold out until the snows over before I sow anything. Can broad beans be planted in pots then planted out or have they go to be sow straight into the soil. My books all tend to disagree with each other.
