Ventured out, and found a lovely little local farm shop

Post: # 23194Post Millie »

Im not very bold at the mo, but yesterday I ventured out into unknown territory and visited a loacl farm "shop" in part of someones house and yard. WOW! I bought 2 dozen free range eggs, and eyed up all the local honey, jams, chutneys etc. And soooooo many seedlings for sale. Peat, compost, wood, metal, and a pick up full of bricabrac with a for sale sign

Oh, and a couple investigating the farms horse shoe bats

Wonderful lady, dishing out loads of advice, and so friendly, I shall be back there soon!

For anyone local thats:

Home Farm shop at Heywood (tween Westbury and trowbridge)

Still no edit for me!

The eggs made the most gorgeous egg mayonaise last night, my ds1 was very happy with his sarnies today!

PS if you should read this Martin or Andy.....I think you need to double check your permissions in admin, dont think they are set quite right!!

you may believe it or not, it may well be because she used "quotes" in the title - it can freak php out for some inexplicable reason! :?

Thanks Millie,

I will go and investigate. There's quite a good one just off the A36 near Norton St Phillip. Nice stuff, bit pricey but worth a visit.

Thanks for sharing that!

Millie, as us mods are on something of a learning curve ATM, can one of us edit your original post and remove the quotes in the title, to see if that resolves the edit-button problem?

do you use phpbb? - I find SMF an absolute logical doodle - phpbb seems to rival Mambo for impenetrability!............no easy way to install mods - their "auto" system is flakey in the extreme - then there's all the conflicting levels of permissions............... :?
