On my morning walk to town I pick brambles for a snack, have roasted nettles ray mears style before, and I know for a fact that the freshest healthiest food money can't buy is right up on the bank outside this little sailboat on the thames that my fiance and I share.
Problem is my knowlege comes from internet pictures and book descriptions. Not sure I trust my own interpretation skills.
Anyone know of forraging get togethers in the area?
This is a great area with lots of wild free land to graze from...seems a shame to give money to T***o for mixed greens while I'm squishing it underfoot on my way home!
