Mulch, partially composed wood chips, are available from the City free of charge. It is only necessary to pick them up. There is a half cubic yard box placed in the back of he Van to accomplish this task. Today a load was transported and the mulch placed on the Saffron Crocus bed for overwintering to ameliorate the effects of the freezing and thawing cycles.
