Hello from the frozen North (of Ireland)

Post: # 255999Post Saralexis »

Hi there. I’m Sarah,

I have three small boys and a garden in Portstewart, near Coleraine on the north coast. My youngest just had me outside checking it over and the wind nearly took my ears off! We just bought the house next door and expanded into it, so our smallish garden has just doubled in size!

This year will be the first year ever that we haven’t got builders leaving rubble all over the garden, so I’m really looking forward to getting going and developing some skills.

We’re planting some fruit trees and a few raised beds, we’re hoping to have vegetables and herbs as well as some soft fruit.  The soil is good I think but we have the salt wind to deal with!

Any Northern Irishishers out there?

Wish me luck!

Sarah

Hello! I was in Belfast in the week and yes, it is cold!
Just because you see two eyes shining in the jungle at night, do not think that the worse thing that could happen is that you are about to be attacked by a tiger. It could be two one-eyed tigers.
