Hi, it's lovely to meet you all. I live on the outskirts of Manchester with my husband and a very active 18 month old terrier called Tolly. we have recently taken early retirement and are thoroughly enjoying ourselves: as we have been self sufficientish for many years now and are luck enough to have two full sized allotments and a small apiary (7 hives at the moment as we've already taken 3 swarms this year and had successfully brought our own 3 colonies through the winter).
We first rented our allotments 35 years ago this year and at that time only 18 were being worked on a site of 80plus. Now you can't get one for love or money so times have certainly changed.
Hope that's not too much information, I'm really looking forward to reading the forum posts and learning new skills.
