A little relief...

Post: # 263777Post Mustardseedmama »

Today around 3:30 a storm blew up from southeast of here. It took the temperature from 112 degrees F. down to 80!! I cannot tell you all how wonderful it was, although all we got in the form of moisture was sprinkles. Ahhhhh!
What if you're wrong? What if there's more? What if there's hope you never dreamed of hoping for?

Wow, I seriously start to melt at 80 degrees, by 112 I would join Susie combusting or I would spend all the time sitting in the fridge.
Here we get a range from a winter 35 degrees to summer 75 degrees and that suits me just fine.

Is it difficult to immigrate to Ireland?

You would be welcomed with open arms as a huge percentage of young Irish have emigrated due to lack of employment.
Plus we have umpteen empty houses courtesy of the failed housing boom.

I should probably have added that our summer consists of warmer rain and our winters consist of cooler rain.

At this moment, any rain at all would be just fine with me! We are currently living with a niggling fear in the backs of our minds that some goofus will toss a lit ciggarette out of there window and everything will be "toast".
