Looks Familiar

I've just started to get involved in another strawbale building project in the Bristol area. I mention this because as soon as I looked at the view from the chap's back garden I immediately recognised it. Have a look at the picture below, and compare it to one in this thread.

Don't know if Felix is still about on this forum, but it would appear that your mum's allotment is right below this chap's garden. And he was very complimentary about the way she worked the allotment, too.

Strangly enough over to the right is an allotment taken on by Dave. He used to live opposite where you are working and now lives round the corner near the climbing church.

Next time I'm there, I shall wave in the general direction of 'over to the right'!

And what's a 'climbing church'? Is this some new fundamentalist sect we should be afraid of?

Yep climbing for salvation, you find them on top of your house here in Bristol trying to convert you. It is quite scarry really, I was trying to get to sleep last night and I found the whole sect had decided it was our streets turn for salvation. The were on the roof throughout the early hours in the end the police were called. As it is such a big sect most of the police were also part of it and climbed up and joined in singing hymns, speaking in tounges and preaching the word of sir edmond hillary.

Actually the truth is not so exciting it used to be a church and now you can climb up the inside of it.
