Hedgewizard is the prime example I can imagine him running through the woods casting spells on people or have I just been in the sun too long today?
Why choose your avatar?

Why choose your avatar?
I don't know about you but when I see some of the avatar (not the goodlife ones) next to people's posts in conjours up an image of what they must look like. With exceptions of people who use there own face such as me, of course. So why do you choose them? Is it to project a certain image of yourself, just because you like the pic or does it mean something to you?

lol.... well mine is one of the geese that we had in Herefordshire. I like it - and I like geese... BUT was actually thinking of changing it... I would have done it before now but I had such trouble setting it up in the first place I don't want to tempt fate.
Wouldn't want to scare folk from posting by using my face though lol

mine's a picture that makes me happy - I took it at the Glastonbury Festival in 2004 - it's a wonderful wood statue made by a bloke who exhibits there regularly. I'm a sun-lover myself, and just know that wonderful "soaking up the rays" feeling - blue sky, sunshine, lovely lady, festival.............

And when it came to choosing a "logo" for our business, she just sort of leapt onto my lap!

hey, hey... watch it or I'll put the pic of me drooling down my front having retreated into unconsciousness to escape seasickness on the Jersey ferry. And nobody wants that.
The avatar is Catweazle (a real Hedgewizard!) but if I get bored of it I might choose another such character... there are lots of loony wizard photos on the net. Or I might take some photos at a PaganLink bash, they're always an eye-opener!

I hesitated for quite a while before posting a pic of myself... Have never done it before. Decided though, after coming from another forum where I really felt misunderstood (or possibly misrepresented) that I just wanted to put 'me' forward here, as genuinely as possible. I think I appreciated Andy's openness too. It was nice to find 'real people' here... even if they do hide behind turnips

I don't put too much thought into what others are like... I guess I just take everyone as they come, in the moment. While I can be deep and thoughtful sometimes
, the bulk of my posts are made laffin, (even if I am being serious
) and I'm not easily offended - I laugh to easily. So I figured if I showed myself doing that, then maybe folks would be more inclined to remember that, if they misread me or tend to read attitude into something.
Another forum I am on, has just introduced "Must post pics and bios" which has been heaps interesting... Learned things about folks, I had never considered, and it is strange how quickly some of the facades crumbled away. We can only relate to people on what they offer, some offer more than others, I guess. All to their own, live and let live, and all that...

I should update my pic soon too as that one is a couple of years old and it is not even my sunflower

LOL Boots... it could be dave... how can we tell the difference lol
Anyway - I love your pic Boots..... it makes me smile... and I liked seeing your pic shiney - and as for muddy's that's just pure class

Should I be brave enough to take a pic to post on here... maybe one day... but I tend to be on the other side of the camera most of the time.
