the little green cafe

Post: # 270604Post Skippy »

I don't know how widespread this is but the little green cafe is said to be a sister site to freecycle and being a member of a couple of freecycle groups I recieved an e-mail about the cafe. It said in the email that it was for things that are generally unsuitable for the main group boards such as "I can bake a pie for someone if they will knit a sweater" or questions about finding services or products so in effect useful for skill swap bartering if I'm reading it correctly.Either way it seems to be in the general mindset of this site so must be worth a look in my view.

Thanks Skippy, something interesting to do on another New Years day - hadn't heard of that one yet. Will try it out.

Ah, thanks for the info. I've had emails from our local freecycle coordinator asking members to join the cafe too, but I couldn't see what the point was (it sounded like another forum, and I spend far too much time online as it is) so I didn't join. Makes more sense now you explain it.
