Pole beans

Post: # 274310Post MClan »

I have been very lucky with my bean seeds and they all came through, I transplanted 2 plants per pole but with hindsight I wonder if they will smother each other. Do I just let them get on with it or do I lose the weaker one? It seems so wasteful. I've got Cosse Violet French? and Czar runners.

Thanks

Karen

I don't think they will smother each other, two plants per pole are quite normal (for me anyway)

No worries, I grow two runners and five french climbers per pole.
