Good morning all,
I am looking into buying some forest land in Italy with a view to harvesting truffles, there are truffles locally but may need to plant some additional trees when trees are cut to provide wood for heating, we will be self sufficient with rewooding the area.
Any thoughts on how to be successful in having the truffles grow in the first place?,
Thanks all,
Peter

Re: Truffles
You can buy bare root trees that have already been inoculated here in the UK (I don't know about Italy though). Check with folk around the area - if it needs doing someone there will know how to do it.
