Our local line seems that it will have an ever decreasing role in easing the congestion in Bristol. It is very useful to me and Dave as we use it to go on foraging trips and visit each other. In fact the line runs at the back of Dave's house and very close to mine.
The thing is it carries nuclear waste. I am wondering if this line is being subsidised by being allowed to carry waste. Am I just being a conspriousy (spelling??) theorist. It would stand to reason to allow the train to have a skeleton service if the train company (first great western) were recieving some cash by other means and did not have to run the service at a profit.

Not quite sure what you mean by skeleton service, but as I've been fairly active against our nucular (quote, G Bush) in the past I'd be happy to offer any info I can. I'm sorry to hear that they're carrying N-waste past your back door...is it on it's way to Seascale, perhaps? Feel free to drop me a PM.
