I'm reading this at the moment, and it is a wonderful book!
Its three years in the life of Ms Thompson, and its real life too. She gets an allotment, and goes into detail about making the allotment hers, and how she digs it and weeds it. She's a keen organic gardener...and has a VW camper van as a greenhouse for a while!
It really is a good read for anyone living in a town or city who has an allotment (or doesnt...but has a VW camper van!!).
I recommend it.
Don't know how to buy it though...i found it at a summer fete a few weeks ago.
