Kinda make you feel all warm and fuzzy .... but also nice to see as a contrast to that rotweiller incident.

All our dogs have been great with the grandkids - but our current greyhound looks rather too interested when the smallest one makes rabbity noises in his rabbity suit! They`re kept well apart until smallest one looks more human!

Reminds me of the dog we used to have. He was a great Dane/Labrador cross. He used to lay on small children to protect them too.

I have a picture of when i was a baby, and we had a Greyhound/Whippet cross. My parents were really worried about him around me, because he was 8, and so they worried that he might feel put out by the new baby, but he understood,a dn this picture has me laying on the floor,a nd him laying next to me with his paw on my stomach giving the 'just try it, she's my baby' look.
