just had to tell you all

Do you keep livestock? Having any problems? Want to talk about it, whether it be sheep, goats, chickens, pigs, bees or llamas, here is your place to discuss.

My Quails are hatching, well mainly hatched, 9 so far, 1 more hatching and 2 not doing anything, so good result I think for 12 eggs.

Sorry first hatch very excited.

Congrats!! I had a pair of quails once which laid eggs (well the female!) but the male killed the babies almost immediately! The second batch I managed to save just one and moved it and Mum away from the father. Perhaps worth keeping an eye on them?

Incubator, only a little cheap one.

10 out of 12 hatched, one dead in shell (I cracked it last week, so my fault) and one infertile. So I'm impressed with that.

I don't know yet, I don't think anyone here would be able eat any of them.
