Trouble joining?

Post: # 39773Post Andy Hamilton »

When you first join up you have to reply to an email to verify your account. If you don't recieve this email then please do check your spam box. I think that sometime AOL and BT users have trouble for some reason, if this is the case and you simply can't find the email try joining again with a different email address and name.

Cheers :andy:

Ok, slight change now admin staff have to approve you before you can be active. This is an attempt to stop the spammers.

You don't have to do anything after you register, confirmation will be sent and this too can sometimes end up in your spam box. If you don't get an email within 24 hours then please try logging on anyway as the email might not have reached you.

I had a bit of a problem... what I found was, unless I has access to this site, I couldnt report any problem without having access to this site.

Can you see the circle.....
Ok, I sorted my stuff eventually by using another e-mail address (long story).

I quickly noticed that there is no advertised way to contact any Admin without being a member.

Not to disrespect anyone here but, any chance of having a big "click here if you are having problems with joining this site" or something like that.

It drove me nuts, not being able to ask anyone for help to join.
Please please sort it out, so the next person with difficulty joining wont tear their hair out!

Please do email me - andy at selfsufficentish.com if you have trouble joining and I will do my best to get it sorted.

I obviously can't be at my computer 24/7 so please try to log in a few times before you email me and do let me know if the problem has been rectified before I email you back.

Cheers folks and see you on the forums.

Also please tell me your user name if you do contact me, although I can work out who you are from an email address I have to work it out by looking at the accounts of everyone who has joined over the last day or so.
