McNaught Comet

Post: # 47112Post kanga »

Hi,
Has anyone else been comet spotting?? The McNaught Comet has been visble here for sometime and as Mildura usually has such clear nights, it's quite a sight. Wondering how visible it is elsewhere :flower:

I meant to look for it! Not sure it'll happen tonight now - it's still pretty cloudy here!

We've had great views here (bottom of the South Island of New Zealand) for the past week or so - when it's not too cloudy... The tail seems to be getting longer, too. Amazing sight!!

Is it still visible in the UK, does anyone know?

I went out onto the Ridgeway the other day at dusk to try and see it, but no luck.

I have been watching it for the past few days, as the sky has been crystal clear in central Victoria. :cooldude:
