SSiSH Flag!

Post: # 60053Post the.fee.fairy »

I asked Andy for permission, and he kindly let me use the flower on a flag for BGG - its going to go on the back of one of the Guinness Party 2007 Flags, so its a decent size, and people can see it.

So...i thought i'd take some pics of it from beginning to end:

Image
The first stencil of the flower is made. We printed out a pic of the flower, and then my sister scaled it up 4x to make a massive stencil to go under the sheet that we're using.

Image
The stencils are all made.
We chose a font for the writing, and then made cardboard stencils to use llater on. We got numb fngers cutting out the letters.

Image
My sister concentrating on cutting out a stencil

Image
Some idiot ( ) managed to make a mistake...so we started again.

Image
The green has been done

Image
Just got to do the black now (outlining/writing)

Image
My sister was so proud she forced me to take this pic!

Its not finished yet...we've got to do the writing on it, and there's another flower on its own too - where the mistake was made the first time, we cut the flower off and kept it to paint and use somehow. We might take that one to Stonehenge for the Solstice.

Can't wait now..!

Brilliant! It is pretty amazing seeing the process of it being made. Love it!

Very nice ... have you agreed the sponsorship deal?

A free copy of the forth-coming book perhaps?
