The postman delivered my free tree from Yeo Valley
it is a Hazel, any suggestions as to where to plant it and what I can do with it and how long it will take to grow? it is incy wincy just now (1' tall)

Congratulations... perhaps you'll get some hazel nuts?
My dad used to have a hazel hedge in partial shade (which they like) and we used to get loads of nuts off that. You can copice it or cut it back to a shape.
I would put it somewhere sheltered... perhaps even plant it in a large pot (in good, rich, garden soil) for a year or so to protect it. However, don't forget to water it wherever you plant it to establish it well.
