howling at the moon..........

Post: # 72359Post Martin »

it's full moon - the time when landlords know that the otherwise meek and mild become dangerous psychos for the evening - "banned" subjects arise in the public bar.......the normally nearly-teetotal vet has to be wheelbarrowed home as he's p****ed as a parrot...........
A&E have got the crash barriers up..........
Have a good howl folks! :dave:

The oldest boy and I were up at midnight to watch the moon, talk about why it's called a harvest moon, why it looks so big, how the Chinese have a Moon Festival, and then finished with a couple of moon stories - Houyi and Chang'e, and Hijuki, Bil and Mani. He loves this sort of thing, but his favourite is the Hunter's Moon as that's when we do a story about werewolves....

Funny you should say that. I was just reading your reply when he came over and interupted to show me his latest K'nex model - the Temple of Hephaestus. Just a second while I tell him to stop bugging me!
