See, i took it as 'spare' as in, 'extra'.

If its just £1000, i'd put it in the bank with the rest of my savings, then realise that i have enough to finish my piercing training, so go for a month to do it.

However, if it was a disposable £1000, as in, extra to my needs, i'd probably donate it to BGG.

Fund a second month off work - although maybe at another time of year.

Some kind of puggie diesel then? Runs on just about anything, veggie oil, diesel, kerosene. I love them, so reliable and fairly cheap to buy. I won't drive anything but an old puggie 405 turbo diesel estate. Well when I get richer might go for a 406 TD estate.

Eh? You can get loads for a thousand squids.
I was sitting here planning. I am going to get a double axle pony trailer, and one of these http://www.iseappliances.co.uk/index.php?id=1186065672

First of all I'd buy that pair of boots I've always wanted. Then with the £880 I had left over it would be invested in chickens!!!

Buy a new trailer as our ancient 2nd hand one is on its last legs, and then I would go to the garden centre and have a shopping spree!

Get my computer fixed  Note to self never pick up a laptop by the screen. (using Dave's computer at the moment). Mind you the I am hoping it is under guarantee.

Well the first thing that I always do when I get a bit of extra money is go up the pub. You would have to buy a lot of people drinks though. The next thing is go on holiday and as I have been invited over to Berlin for new years eve I would buy my train tickets there.
