Favorite Weather

Post: # 73214Post pskipper »

Just wondering what everyones favorite weather is, it's the first day this year that I've been tempted to bunk off work because of the weather, its warm with a low mist and a magnificently bosky smell coming from the local woods, if I was a little bit weaker I'd be borrowing my friends dog and vanishing for the day :)

This is my favourite weather! Cool and misty with a promise of crisp sunny weather later. Perhaps a throwback to school when this was the actual start of the new year.

that day in Spring when its at long last warm enough to feel the warmth of the sun - probably not that hot (around 65-70F), with a gentle breeze and clear sun

it's got to be when the first lot of snow has fallen, i love walking in snow that hasn't been trodden on and you hear the crunching underfoot, magical

Yesterday was great - blue sky, little wind, not very warm...

My ideal too! Days like that from July onwards are ruined by being bitten by harvest mites, so I vote for the weather we had this April, warm enough to BBQ but not so hot that you can't work outside in it.

I have so many which make me glad to be alive, so I can't choose just one...

ok, early in the morning in mid december when there's a big frost. the air is crisp and dry, the sun can be seen glinting through the clouds and theres a slight mist. I am warm in my jumper and big fluffy coat and walking boots, and I have mittens and a flask of hot chocolate.
happy Emma. :D
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very

Last night - heavy rain, nice and early for us, as rain now means water for next summer from the snow melt. I love a storm in the night and then waking to a clear blue sky and warm sunshine.

I also like snow and sunshine and just plain sunshine on it´s own!

Absolutely, just cool enough to make you want to work a bit in the fresh air, but not so cool that you sit shivering wishing you were somewhere else

ooo gotta be a day ion my favourite season, Autumn... walking through the forest in a thick jacket, gloves and scarf... there's this little rarely used path in Hatfield forest and when you go through it in autumn there's loads of different trees which all have different colours of red, brown and orange as well as green form the ever-greens... just magical!

Or a real thunderstorm on a summer's night... it's so cool!

I love these soft September/October days.... "cardigan weather" my geography teacher used to say!!!! You won't freeze or burn!

Warmish, sunnyish, gentle sunshine reflecting off a beautiful burbling stretch of river, mountains all around, my son, one of our dogs and laughter....

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
