It says to get any last minute entries in ASAP, so there's still a couple of days.

Try reading the Stitch and Bitch books - they['re really good. my mum failed completely at teaching me to knit, but i learnt thanks to the books.

The little hats are great for people like me who like to see a finished item in half an hour or so! Instant gratification with bobbles on!
I`ve sent mine off and started next year`s collection already.

Well I'm going to be controversial and boring... but what use is there for these little hats afterwards?

1. To put on the top of boiled eggs to keep them warm.
2. For Barbie/Ken/Action Man
3. For covering a mooncup (one of the hats i made looked might like one too...)
4. For sending to The Big Knit again next year.
5. For marking YOUR smoothie out in the fridge at work

Um...can't think of any other ideas, but i'm sure there are some!

ok ok - you've got some good ideas there. I guess they could be used as finger puppets for children too.
