reuse gone mad ...

Post: # 77163Post Silver Ether »

:flower:

For the last twelve months or so ... I have found that when I buy stuff in jars or containers ... I look for ones that I can reuse even if they cost a little more. Its the best way I find to get nice jars for goodies that I make to give as gifts. My best one yet is ...
From a cheap shop Bargain Madness in Dudley... jars of smoothie/spread for babies finger food... lovely jar, lables come of really easy. Smoothie was used to go on pancakes with plain yogur and fruit for kids .. posh brekkie eh  Cost ... 10 pence per jar ... very pleased ...

re-use gone mad

No, you haven't gone mad, I keep all my big envelopes I receive things in and use them to mail out gifts.

And if the item is an exchange, its goes back in the same envelope it came in , if it'll fit.

When I'm buying jarred items I'm looking for jars that will do well as jam or relish jars, or if its a bottle of juice, will the bottle make a nice flower vase later?

So you're not the only one who re-uses.

 Lois
