I stumbled across the Plantscafe website this morning and thought it might be a good resource for home schoolers.
It's aimed at 9-11 year olds and it's all about plants. There are 44 modules, all with downloadable teaching material and printable worksheets (I've only had a look at a couple), a few of which are intended for use during a visit to a botanical garden.
There's 4 different topics - experiments, food, art and conservation - so it's quite heavy on the science but there are other bits. And it's available in 4 different languages.
