Five facts about a newbie

Post: # 92246Post cavscott »

Hi there,

My name's Cavan Scott (or Cav to my friends). I live in Bristol with my wife and daughter.

I never know what to say in these forum intros so here are five facts about me:

1. My day job is that I'm the editor of the BBC's Countryfile magazine.

2. I have a goldfish called Ernie. His aquarium-mate Eric popped his cogs last year. Ahhhhhh.

3. I have mushed huskies.

4. In my spare time I write and produce audio dramas based on Cult TV and movie malarky including Doctor Who, the Tomorrow People and Judge Dredd.

5. I'm a Bristol City fan.

So that's me then. Hello all.

Cav

Hiya Cav, welcome to Ish!

One question for a newbie - what's a mushed husky? (A dog, I know - but it looks as if the word should be either hushed, or mashed, or mushy...)

Hi Cav

Welcome!

Audio dramas based on the Tomorrow People... wow... that sounds interesting. I used to love watching that when I was VERY VERY young! LOL

Hi guys,

Yup, it was dog-sled racing with the world champion musher in Scotland for a magazine feature.

And as for being a Bristol City fan, well someone's got to be.

Great to be here.
