Hello from Cheshire

Post: # 105131Post ViciiK »

I can't believe that I have only just found this site. I have been working to live a simpler life for a good while now but have only found this place in the last few days!

I live in Cheshire with my partner, my little baby girl and my son. We've recently moved house so I'm in the process of sorting out and planting a vegetable plot.

Hopefully I'l find even more ideas here to help

Hiya, and welcome!

Looking at your profile - we seem to share a few interests: reading, knitting and gardening. Well, you can do the running without me...

What do you knit? I have a suitcase full of wool knocking about - time I started on another project!

Thanks everyone for the hellos....

Hi Ina - like you I also have lots of wool in my stash. I'm currently halfway through some socks, recently started a lacy shawl for myself and I'm trying to work out a stitch pattern for a diamond so I can knit a jumper that I've seen in a magazine but I can't get mine to look the same - it would work but I really like the one in the picture so I need to scan the internet for some ideas!!

I do mainly socks and jumpers, too - not so much into fancy patterns, though!
